Escape the everyday and discover one of the highest-rated candle making workshops in Newcastle. Located in the heart of Newcastle city centre, our hands-on workshops are designed to help you create your own luxury home fragrance in a relaxed and welcoming studio.
Guided by the Worthy Wax team, you’ll blend your own signature fragrance, learn the art of candle making, and hand-pour a luxury soy candle to take home. While your candle sets, you’ll also create your own hand-poured soy wax melts, giving you even more to enjoy once you return home.

We sometimes take photos and short film clips during workshops for our website and social media. You can opt out when booking, or at any time by telling a member of the team.
The afternoon
Your candle making workshop begins with an introduction to fragrance blending, where you’ll explore our carefully curated collection of premium fragrance oils to create a scent that’s uniquely yours.
We’ll then guide you through every stage of the candle making process, from selecting the right soy wax and wick to hand-pouring your own luxury candle.
While your candle cools, you’ll create a collection of beautifully fragranced soy wax melts, making the most of your time in the studio before taking home everything you’ve created.
Whether you’re attending alone, with friends, or as part of a celebration, our workshops are suitable for beginners and designed to be relaxed, creative and enjoyable.

The Statement Candle Masterclass
On our most indulgent afternoon, you pour the official Worthy Wax Large ceramic jar instead: 900g of natural soy wax, three cotton wicks, up to 120 hours of burn, finished in an official box and ribbon. Ten seats per session, £80 per person.
